What we collect when you use this site, what we do with it, and how to get it removed. We don't sell personal information and we don't run advertising trackers.

This policy covers sunnysound.co and the way we handle enquiries and subscriptions. Sunny Sound is based in Tucson, Arizona, and we sell to communities in the United States and Canada.

What we collect

What you send us. When you fill in the contact form, call, or email, we get your name, email address, phone number, the community you work for, and whatever you write in the message. The form is hosted by HubSpot, our customer relationship system, so the submission lands there.

What we collect automatically. Like most websites, we log basic technical information through Google Analytics 4: pages viewed, roughly where in the world you are, referring site, browser and device type, and an anonymized identifier. We use it to see which pages are useful, not to identify you.

Payment details. If you subscribe, checkout happens on Stripe. Stripe collects the card and billing details and shares a record of the transaction with us. Card numbers never touch our systems.

Spam protection. The contact form uses Google reCAPTCHA, which examines interaction signals to tell a person from a bot.

Please don't send us resident health information

We are an equipment supplier, not a healthcare provider, and we have no reason to hold anyone's medical details. Don't include resident names, diagnoses, or any protected health information in the contact form or in an email. If you do, we will delete it.

Why we use it

  • To answer your enquiry and work out which plan fits your community.
  • To ship your kit, run your subscription, and take payment.
  • To support you once you are up and running.
  • To send you occasional email about Sunny Sound, if you asked for it. Every one of those has an unsubscribe link.
  • To understand which parts of this site are working, in aggregate.
  • To meet our tax, accounting and legal obligations.

Cookies and similar technology

This site sets cookies for analytics (Google Analytics), for the contact form (HubSpot), and for spam protection (Google reCAPTCHA). Embedded content sets its own: the demo video is on YouTube and loads nothing until you press play, and our web fonts are served by Google Fonts, which sees your IP address in the process.

You can block or clear cookies in your browser settings, and Google offers a browser add-on that opts you out of Google Analytics everywhere. Blocking cookies won't break the site, though the contact form may not load.

We do not run advertising pixels or sell data to ad networks.

Who else sees it

Only the companies that help us run the business, and only for that purpose:

  • HubSpot — the contact form and our customer records.
  • Stripe — subscription payments.
  • Google — Analytics, Fonts, reCAPTCHA, and the YouTube demo video.
  • Our web host, and shipping carriers when a kit goes out.

Beyond that, we share personal information only when the law requires it, or if the business is ever sold, in which case your information moves with it. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Where it is kept, and for how long

Our providers store data on servers in the United States. We keep enquiry records while there is a reasonable chance of doing business together, and customer and billing records for as long as the law requires us to, typically seven years. Ask us to delete something sooner and we will, unless we are required to keep it.

Your choices

Email [email protected] and we will act on it, wherever you live. You can ask us to:

  • Tell you what we hold about you.
  • Correct anything that is wrong.
  • Delete it.
  • Stop sending you marketing email, which you can also do from the unsubscribe link in any message.

We answer within 30 days. We may need to confirm who you are first, which usually means replying from the address we already have. We won't treat you differently for asking.

Children

This site is aimed at people who run activity programs at senior living communities. It is not directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS and our providers are established platforms with their own security programs. No system is perfect, so please don't send anything sensitive through a web form.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top of the page changes with it. Material changes will be flagged on the site.
